GHSTIE

Whilst having a flick through Instagram I came across Ghstie. As you can see below his work is similar to Beastman's, which is understandable considering the guy comes from New Zealand. Now I'm not saying he copied Beastman's work or Ghstie has had his style copied, they are just similar... But anyway It's hard not to appreciate this guys work, and I really don't know where to begin. I'll start by talking about the colour, its so bold, so well blended and in your face, the thick colour really draws your attention towards the piece and the amount of colour used could bring life to any surface. Once the colours have drawn you in you have these characters or patterns that you can't help but stare at for a good couple of minutes. The characters all have so much going on, and the patterns, well it's hard to describe how they look, but to put it simply, they're stunning. Just look for yourself, you'll be stuck for words.

RONE

I love Australia, and the street art is good, like seriously good, you just have to look at the work of Beastman to notice that it's really really good. RONE is out of Australia and killing it, the work is amazing, high detailed and huge. All of his street work incorporates an attractive females face, some of the pieces on the street include writing and some include objects like skulls, but the female face is the most recognisable part of his work. The work doesn't usually include loads of colours, but it doesn't need lots of colour, the work is to such a ridiculously high amount of detail that any colours are secondary. RONE has worked around the world, America, New Zealand, Hawaii and many more, and the best thing is that it doesn't look like he's stopping any time soon. But while you wait for RONE's next piece to show up, below are some pictures of his most recent work.

123Klan

I've been sifting through the internet and social media sites for a while now, trying to find different artists and crews that are around the world, so that one day I can walk down a street and recognise the style of certain graffiti artists and be able to say "Oh yeah that's (insert name here)". Anyway recently I came across 123Klan. Now when I first looked at these guys I admired there work with words and a few of the characters they did, I'm really into the use of different fonts than the usual wildstyles and throw-ups that are usually associated with graffiti. So when I was flicking through pictures on Instagram to find these guys, I was more than pleased. Then I went into my further research, and noticed that these guys weren't just graff artists, but they also did a lot of commercial work, like designing for Johnny Cupcakes, Vans, Nike and many more. Now I know quite a few artists would turn around and go "you shouldn't make money from graffiti, shouldn't sell out blah blah blah" but if they can earn a bit of extra cash, why not? Either way the 123Klan have got a good system going, and an awesome load of graffiti.

Christian Guemy

For as long as I can remember I have adored the work of Christian Guemy, better known as C215. This guy is a French artist, not new, but unbelievable when it comes to spraying stencils. A lot of his work is based on his daughter, and a lot of the portraits are of her. His style is odd, the more you look at it the more detail you start to realise, you start to see there is a much wider range of colours than you first thought. When you put these colours together you get this realistic face, like something you would see in the National Portrait Gallery, not on the streets. It's crazy what this guy has produced, the sheer amount of pieces dotted around the globe, and the detail he can get from his stencils. If you want to see more of his work go to his Instagram @christianguemy.

To give you more of an idea of how ridiculous this guy is, check these pictures and videos I've put up.

Luky

Sticker Slaps are something that are on the way up big time, lots of people are drawing all over 'Hello my Name is...' stickers. But when it comes to characters, Luky from California is nailing it. You have a skeleton like figure, filled with bold, bright colours such as yellows, pinks and more, and finally his signature mark of a cross replacing one of the eyes. All these factors together make me love Luky's work. To see more of his work go and have a look on his instagram @lukyxiii, you wont regret it at all.

Alex Senna

Brazilian artist Alex Senna is a unique artist, he is more commonly known for his work in graphic design, but his work drawn on a computer transfers perfectly onto a wall. The style of his work is completely character based, I am yet to see any of his work that is writing based. The characters are these long slim humans, often with a speech bubble containing just one love heart. The work is always black and white, and the detail is minimal. But the minimal detail is perfect, the black makes the white stand out so much, and the sheer amount of negative space is amazing. The most recent of his work has been in London, so I'm guessing he either is in London on business, or he's just spray painting everywhere? Either way keep looking at his website or instagram @alexsenna to see where he could be next, or what piece he does next, but either way here is some of his most recent pieces.

A quick tour round Brighton

The seaside of Brighton. A lovely quirky place where you can see a massive variety of people and places. In one part you have the posh snobs with their large houses and Bentley's, and then on the other side you have the homeless people that like to play harmonicas and sleep in dingy dark alleyways. But my favourite parts was the lanes. The Brighton lanes are full to the brim with graffiti, from murals to throw ups, detailed writing to tags, It's all there! It would take all day to look and photograph every individual piece, so instead I opted for a quick guide given by my sister's boyfriend. He showed me the back of some shops, that were covered in some of the biggest murals I've seen, and it wasn't like you had one piece here and there, no the whole wall was covered. Every inch of it had a coating of spray paint. Here's all the pictures I took from the quick viewing. If your ever down there you should just walk around, you have some cool shops and some ridiculous graffiti from the likes of banksy and the MSK crew.
