123Klan

I've been sifting through the internet and social media sites for a while now, trying to find different artists and crews that are around the world, so that one day I can walk down a street and recognise the style of certain graffiti artists and be able to say "Oh yeah that's (insert name here)". Anyway recently I came across 123Klan. Now when I first looked at these guys I admired there work with words and a few of the characters they did, I'm really into the use of different fonts than the usual wildstyles and throw-ups that are usually associated with graffiti. So when I was flicking through pictures on Instagram to find these guys, I was more than pleased. Then I went into my further research, and noticed that these guys weren't just graff artists, but they also did a lot of commercial work, like designing for Johnny Cupcakes, Vans, Nike and many more. Now I know quite a few artists would turn around and go "you shouldn't make money from graffiti, shouldn't sell out blah blah blah" but if they can earn a bit of extra cash, why not? Either way the 123Klan have got a good system going, and an awesome load of graffiti.
