Artist in Brick Lane

Whilst walking down Brick Lane the other day to go and meet someone, out the corner of my eye I saw a graffiti artist starting up a piece of work. When I saw him he had only started to add the base coat, so I set up camp across the road and watched this artist at work. It was an amazing thing to see, the speed this guy was going, and how he just knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. Within about 10 minutes he was finished. I couldn't believe it, from the blank white space that he had started with he now had a completed piece. I never went up to the guy to find out his name, I didn't know if he might be in a bit of a rush to get away from the piece in case anyone started giving him gyp. So I waited a few more minutes until the guy had left and got a few pictures of the work. But to see this sort of thing first hand was amazing, it sort of shows you how a artist really works, you see the style they work in and the speed they can work at. These sort of things you experience first hand aren't what you would normally get in a video, videos show you the best bits, or edit it so it's all a bit quicker, in real life you get the whole package. So if you ever see an artist doing a proper bit of graffiti, take some time out of your busy schedule to just sit and witness creation in it's most urban form, it's definitely worth it.

If you have any idea who this artist is please feel free to comment, I want to know badly!
